Outreach is important at Journey Church. We want to reach out to help those that need it. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, both nearby and far away. Listed below are some of the ways we are accomplishing that at this time. If you are interested in any of these ministries, please contact Chris Athey at firstname.lastname@example.org
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (NIV) Proverbs 31:8-9
Journey’s Mission: To see people far from God rescued with real life in Christ.
As a body of believers we are stepping out to live the mission. Journey church plugs 10% of the money given to reach the lost with the gospel, and to defend the poor and the needy outside of the four walls of the church. iDefend outreach also highlights opportunities for believers at Journey to serve, to spread Gospel truth and also to also draw closer to the heart of God.

Meals are a practical and loving way to support those in our church during times when families need extra support: birth of a baby, new foster placement/adoption, major surgery, death, etc. Contact Tonya Sapp at email@example.com for more information or to sign up.
This is a developing area for Journey Church. We are laying the foundation and envisioning big things ahead …informational classes about foster/adoption, licensing, developing an adoption fund, supportive care for families in the process of adopting or fostering.
